Islam and the West

For the past 30 years, there has been a huge migration of tens of millions of Muslims into Western nations, especially in Western Europe in nations such as the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Spain.

Why are so many Muslims desperate to escape their Muslim homelands where sharia law reigns supreme? I posit that this migration is proof of the superiority of Christian values to Islamic ones.

Muslims tried multiple times over the course of the last 1,300 years to conquer Western Europe. Thank God they were defeated by Western military might and the Crusades – which were a defensive action after 400 years of unchecked Islamic conquest and imperialism against formerly Christian nations! The Middle East used to be a Christian majority! Yet, now through stealth jihad these Muslims entering Western nations are Trojan horses that will be used to conquer them.

• Historically when there are relatively few Muslims say 1-5% in a Western nation, they act peaceful and don’t push for special rights or privileges.
• When they become between 10-20% they begin asking for special rights such as the right for their women to wear a head covering (hijab) or even the full-body covering (burqa). They begin forming advocacy groups such as CAIR in the United States and begin asserting that there exists islamophobia which must be fought through laws favorable to Muslims which allow for civil lawsuits, censorship, loss of religious freedom for non-Muslim religions, and even criminal penalties.
• When the Muslim population reaches 40% it achieves critical mass and begins setting up so-called no-go zones in Western cities where non-Muslims are unwelcome, it pushes for Muslims to have the right to use sharia law to supersede Western law. They begin calling for massive Muslim immigration. This coupled with the fact that Muslim families have many children, and they exploit the social support systems in Western nations to get free housing, free education, free health care, free monthly cash payments to support them (which is indexed against how many children they have), free food stamps or other forms of welfare.
• When they reach 50-60% the inflection or tipping point is reached, and it’s only a matter of time before the Islamic majority grows to a hyper-majority. Persecution of non-Muslims really ramps up.
• When they reach 80-90% and Christians and Jews are relegated to a minority status of dhimmitude (second class citizens with few rights and open to severe oppression and persecution under sharia law).

I often hear defenders of Islamic immigration to Western nations say that the majority of Muslims just want a peaceful life and that they don’t care about sharia law or other hot-button issues. Yet the reality is that global polling done by Pew and other groups shows that globally the vast majority of so-called “moderate” Muslims still favor sharia law, favor dhimmitude for non-Muslims, favor the death penalty for apostasy (a Muslim converting to Christianity for example), support so-called blasphemy laws for anyone who would criticize or insult the Islamic prophet Mohammed (who was an illiterate child rapist, bandit, thief, murdered Jews and Christians, and a liar).

For these reasons I strictly oppose Muslim immigration to America and other Western nations. I fear Western Europe has already doomed themselves and unless drastic action were taken, it is unavoidable they will be Muslim majority nations within the next 100-125 years, if not much sooner in some nations. The liberal-socialist politicians and governments in Western Europe, Canada, and Australia betrayed their own people.

Also, I would like to say that the true and most honest form of Islam is fundamentally incompatible with modern Western liberal democracy. Islam is set in a 7th-century mindset and wields an unyielding sharia law to stifle dissent, censor anyone who disagrees with Islamic values, punish anyone who would criticize Muhammed the prophet of Islam, control the media and educational system to teach a very biased Islamic view of history, and punish those who wish to leave Islam for another religion.

The intellectual and cultural basis of Islam is the sacred writings known as the Quran, the Hadith (commentary), and the Sunnah (life of Mohammed). All three of these contain verses that are intolerant, hateful, racist, and explicitly call for violence against Christians and Jews and set the basis for dhimmitude. The Quran was written in 2 parts. The first half was written while Mohammed allegedly lived in Medina and had only a handful of followers (see Robert Spencer’s excellent book on the likelihood that Mohammed is not a historical person). It contains some peaceful and tolerant verses and talks about the people of the Book (Christians and Jews) positively. The second half of the Quran was written while Mohammed was in Mecca and had thousands of followers. This second half of the Quran is filled with explicitly intolerant and hateful verses commanding violence against Christians and Jews. Due to the principle in Islam known as abrogation. The second half of the Quran abrogates the first half. So the second half is to be followed by the faithful and commands greater authority in Islamic theology. Second, the Hadith was written within 300-500 years after Mohammed’s death. They are the basis of Islamic jurisprudence (sharia law), and Islamic core theology. They are written from an extremely conservative point of view. These various esteemed commentators interpret the sacred texts of Islam in a very hateful and intolerant manner. Third, we have the Sunnah which is a biography of the life of Mohammed. It portrays him in an idealized and romanticized view and isn’t historical at all. It was written around 300 years after the death of Mohammed. Contrast this with the Christain New Testament which had parts written as soon as 20-30 years after the death and resurrection of Christ, and which was completed within 40-60 years after the time of Christ on earth. Also, I should mention if you apply the discipline of textual criticism to the Quran and analyze the various manuscripts (many of which were intentionally destroyed) you find that there are wide variances that affect Islamic theology and the historical narrative. Whereas in Christianity the New Testament manuscript has more copies extant than any other sacred writings or any secular writings from antiquity. And the variances in New Testament manuscripts are very minor and none affect core Christian theology or history. So we see that Islam has a very weak historical pedigree, corrupted manuscripts, and theology which is explicitly hateful and anti-Christian (asserting Jesus was not the Second Person of the Triune God, but rather was just a human prophet, asserting that someone else was crucified – not Jesus, and denying the resurrection of Christ). For these reasons, I assert that Islam is utterly Satanic and should be opposed intellectually, socially/culturally, and politically.

Islam is an intolerant, bloody, and barbaric religion rooted in anti-Christian beliefs which are inimical to Christian civilization. Unlike Christianity which spread peacefully its first 300 years of existence, Islam from day one and during its first 300 years spread by the sword through bloody conquest of Christian, Jewish, and Hindu lands. Islam has claimed the lives of tens of millions of Christians in its wretched history.

We must courageously and with boldness speak about the true history of Islam. About the crimes, atrocities, and genocide (the Turkish Ottoman Empire murdered 1.5 million Armenians at the turn of the 20th century and Islam committed more genocide in the past in the Christian Middle East and in Hindu India). If we fail to speak and to act we will see more genocide against Christians, Jews, and Hindus by Muslims.

Great medieval Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas’ own words from the 1260s are worth a look today:

“He (Mohammed) did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the contrary, Mohammed said that he was sent in the power of his arms – which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.”

He goes on to note that Mohammed shrewdly forbade his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, which he twisted into “fabrications of his own,” before concluding: “it is thus clear that those who place any faith in his words believe foolishly.”

Aquinas also observes that the founder of Islam, much like our own secularist vanguard:

“seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh goads us. His teachings also contain precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected, he was obeyed by carnal men.”

The great British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, was serving as an army officer stationed in the Sudan in 1899 when he wrote and published “The River War”.

As you would expect, the text has been altered over time, toned down and sanitized into an opinion the government of the day would like you to believe was the great man’s.

However, the Churchill Center has confirmed the following passage is the original version of Churchill’s thoughts on Islam in 1899.

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia (rabies) in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.

The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.

Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step.

Were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

And further:

A year earlier Churchill had observed:

That religion, which above all others was founded and propagated by the sword—the tenets and principles of which are instinct with incentives to slaughter and which in three continents has produced fighting breeds of men—stimulates a wild and merciless fanaticism.

The love of plunder, always a characteristic of hill tribes, is fostered by the spectacle of opulence and luxury which, to their eyes, the cities and plains of the south display.

A code of honour not less punctilious than that of old Spain is supported by vendettas as implacable as those of Corsica.

Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men’s passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccinations.

But the Mohammaden religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since its votaries have been subject, above all the peoples of all other creeds, to this form of madness.

And further:

Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men’s passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccination. But the Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness. In a moment the fruits of patient toil, the prospects of material prosperity, the fear of death itself, are flung aside. The more emotional Pathans are powerless to resist. All rational considerations are forgotten. Seizing their weapons, they become Ghazis—as danger­ous and as sensible as mad dogs: fit only to be treated as such. While the more generous spirits among the tribesmen become convulsed in an ecstasy of religious blood­thirstiness, poorer and more material souls derive additional impulses from the influence of others, the hopes of plunder and the joy of fighting. Thus whole nations are roused to arms. Thus the Turks repel their enemies, the Arabs of the Soudan break the British squares, and the rising on the Indian frontier spreads far and wide. In each case civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism. The forces of progress clash with those of reaction. The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace. Luckily the religion of peace is usually the better armed.

What Churchill said about Islam, over a century ago, still remains true. In fact I think he’d be even shocked by the rise of Wahhabism and the carnage of millions of innocent people (mainly Christians) slaughtered by radical Islam.
