I left today
And went for a jog
I was exhausted like a hog

I went for a swim
I was like a beached whale
This is my sad tale

I went for a walk
I saw a lot of demon-possessed
They made me depressed

I slayed many a demon
I said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
Out of my window, they flew

I am totally fatigued
I struggle each day
I have much dismay

I’m seeing hallucinations
I am in a psychotic rage
I destroyed the Satanic mage

I have many delusions
Sometimes I’m in a manic state
It sure isn’t great

Faith comes by the ear
The Holy Spirit quickens
The gospel may you hear
Angels rejoice in the heavens

The natural man is dead in sin
Must be born again
He needs Christ’s propitiation
Thanks to sovereign grace, we win

Once we’re regenerated, we’re free
Christ defeated sin, Satan, and death
Christ’s resurrection is for you and me
We’ll be with Him after our last breath

Believers shall be with Christ eternally
His perfect righteousness was imputed to us
All our sins were imputed to Him completely
Spiritually, we went from minus to plus

The Church will be raptured
Before the Antichrist is known
We’ll get glorified bodies that glimmered
The End Times Scripture has shown

I drank a black cherry pop
And ate some fresh cherries
Quality-wise, it was at the top

I ate a grilled chicken sub
It was tender and succulent
Much to my amazement, this was good grub

I ate some French onion soup
With gruyere cheese
It threw me for a loop-dee loop

Next, I ate a pizza with anchovie
It was so delicious
I’ll consume it rapidly

I had ground beef tacos for dinner
It has shredded cheddar and tomato
It was a real winner

I savor a delicious banana hit
It’s truly delectable
It can’t be beat

I enjoy a stuffed pepper
With delectable ground beef
The taste can’t be beat

Finally, I’ll have a glass of ice-cold
Green tea with ginseng and honey
The flavor is bold

I shall depart today
For a galaxy far away

I will employ a phased mind warp
A superluminal time warp

I project my consciousness
At speeds wondrous

I will soon return home
No longer do I need to roam

I will bark like a mad dog
And snort like a fat hog

There are billions of souls on the Earth
Only a minority will receive a second birth

The rest shall perish in hell
Listen to their death knell

The natural man is mired in sin
His only hope is Christ’s propitiation

Repent and believe the gospel immediately
You will be free from Satan and his hostility

In Christ, I am truly alive and free
No longer a prisoner of sin and misery

I needed a sweet treat
I found some ice cream
And hot fudge sauce
It was a culinary dream

A juicy ribeye steak
Sure, it would be great
I’ll eat it all
And clean my plate

I want something spicy
A nice curry will do
When it comes to yummy food
There’s nothing I’ll eschew

A piece of pumpkin pie
Topped with whipped cream
It’s really divine
Better than it may seem

I want a smorgasborg
An epicurean delight
I will gobble up each dish
With all my might

Spaghetti with meatballs
It’s sure to please
I’ll eat it all up
It’s the bees’ knees

I am in
A deep funk
I feel like I was
Sprayed by a skunk

I am floundering
In a psychological abyss
My sanity is
Hit or miss

I’m a few bricks shy
Of a load
Sometimes I feel
Like an old toad

I’m trapped
In lethargy
I want to break out
And be free

I have no energy
At all
Hear my
Desperate call

I want to move
And play
Instead, I’m trapped in bed
And full of dismay

I hear
Inner voices
They are not
My choices

I feel like a stranger
In a strange land
Lately my thoughts
Are rather moribund

I find myself in
A totally depressed state
My mental health
Sure isn’t great

I am mourning Daddy
The grief is overwhelming
I want to hear his voice
I’m stuck farewelling

I know one happy day
Daddy and I will reunite
That is my hope
It will be a time outta sight

My faith in Christ
It will get me through
I’ll lean on Jesus
No prayer will I eschew

I can acutely imagine that day
When I see Daddy again
And we hug
We’ll be free from all sin

The trumpet shall sound
And the dead in Christ
Shall be raised from the ground

Next, those living in Christ will rise
The world will be shocked
They’ll be taken by surprise

This rapture is our blessed hope
Don’t be left behind
Trust in Christ, not in a pope

All those who are born again
Will meet the Lord in the clouds
Christ breaks every chain

We’ll go to Heaven
For the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
It will be Christ and all the brethren

The Church shall not suffer God’s wrath
That is reserved for those on Earth
We must walk this divine path

After seven years, we’ll return to Earth
This is Christ’s Second Coming
With Him will be all who had a second birth

Next is Christ’s millennial reign
For a thousand years, He’ll rule from Jerusalem
The natural man shall endure great pain

Satan, the fallen angels, and fallen humanity
All those not in Christ shall go
Into the Lake of Fire for eternity

Finally, there will be a New Heaven and a New Earth
We’ll live with Christ forever in glorified bodies
It’s cause for great mirth

I miss you, Daddy
So much
I need an
Emotional crutch

The days pass by
So slowly
I am deep
In melancholy

The only thing
I feel is grief
Oh, how I long
For relief

I want to
See you again
From sadness, I will
Try to abstain

I would give anything
To hear Daddy’s voice
But sadly
I don’t have that choice

One day we’ll be together
In the sweet by and by
We’ll be happy forever
Never again will I cry

Please pray for me
As I battle depression
And mourn
I fight demonic oppression

We are strangers

A strange land
Being with
Christ forever
Will be our
True home
We are saved
By double
Imputation
Also known as
Penal
Substitutionary
Atonement
Christ perfect
Righteousness
Is imputed to us
And our sins
Are imputed to Him
This is not a case
Of nominalism
Those who Christ
Saves will become
Truly holy
The Holy Spirit
Sanctifies us
In so many ways
We are conformed
To Christ
Christ receives
All the souls
That God the Father
Gives Him
These Elect
Were predestined
To be saved
Before the foundation
Of the world
We are saved
By God’s sovereign
Grace alone
Through faith alone
In Christ alone
According to
Scripture alone
For the glory
Of God alone
