• My Day

    I left today
    On a crazy journey

    I walked very slow
    Didn’t know where to go

    I ran in the rain
    It made me insane

    I walked down the street
    I couldn’t be beat

    I growled like a dog
My belly is huge like a hog

    I barked at the cars
    And even the bars

    I bellowed at the cat
    I forgot my hat

    I’m totally insane
    I have a malfunctioning brain

    I am psychotic today
I do not want to play

    I will ride a moose
    As we trail the caboose

  • Shadows of the Past

    A moment
    In the past
    Frozen in time
    Captured on film
    Something that
    Will last
    Native Americans
    Believed
    A photograph
    Of them
    Would capture
    Their soul
    How many people
    Today
    Believe that
    If I took
    A poll
    All those
    Smiling faces
    Are now
    Long gone
    Their lives
    Snuffed out
    They had
    Their moments
    To shone

  • Me

    Feeling high
    Wondering why

    Take many a psychoactive drug
Now I feel like a slug

    My brain’s faulty operation
    Causes me great consternation

    My thought are chaotic
    Sometimes I’m psychotic

    Yearn to be free
    From this mental misery

    Want a whole mind
    Hoping someday it I’ll find

    Until then I’ll sleep
Relying on Christ’s grace so deep

  • My Journey Through Space

    I left
    Earth today
    In a most
    Unusual way

    Using my
    Mind’s power
    I traveled
    With grandeur

    A phased
    Mind warp
    My consciousness
    In an energy orb

    I soon
    Sped along
    Singing
    A happy song

    I was now at
    Superluminal speed
    This journey
    I really did need

    I flew past
    Galaxies
    Nebula
    And planets’ apogees

    A black hole
    Nearly sucked me in
    But due to my speed
    That did not happen

    Racing through
    The cosmos was great
    But it was getting
    Rather late

    I raced
    Back home
    Another day and
    The universe I’d roam

  • Flux

    When I rise
    In the morn
    I praise the Lord
    Even if feeling forlorn

    I put on
    My spiritual armor
    Equipped fully
    And thank the Father

    Demons
    I shall slay
    It happens
    Every day

    My mind
    Is complex
    A witch tried
    To give me a hex

    I fight
    The dark
    I dream of daylight
    I hit the mark

  • Afternoon Thoughts

    Sigh no more
    We depart
    For the
    Celestial shore
    It is sin
    I abhor
    I desire to
    Sin no more

    My sister Vi
    Is out of sight
    She helps me
    Often
    She’s a pure
    Delight
    She made
    My bed tonight

    We trust
    In Christ alone
    His radiance
    Has shone
    In Him
    We are free
    No more
    Misery

    We pray
    For America
    She has
    Lost her way
    Once close
    To God
    She is now
    Far away

    Repentance
    Is needed
    For us
    To once more
    Be
    That shining
    City
    Upon a hill

  • Posie Pie Vi

    My dear sister Vi
    Is the best
    Cleaning and cooking
    While I rest

    She is selfless
    And caring too
    I’m truly thankful
    She made me lamb stew

    Vi doesn’t complain
    She works so hard
    She cooks all the time
    But she doesn’t use lard

    She helps me
    With my meds
    She even makes sure
    To make our beds

    I would be lost
    Without her aid
    I love her so much
She is more than a maid

    No task great or small
    Does Vi eschew
    Dearest sister
    I love living with you

  • An Easter Celebration – 600th Blog Post

    Easter is here
    Celebrating Jesus’s resurrection
    Time for cheer

    Christ died on the cross
    He bore God’s full wrath
    It seemed a great loss

But on the third day He rose
    Defeating death, sin and Satan
    Was liberated from death’s throes

Christ died for you and me
He was our perfect sinless sacrifice
His sovereign grace sets man free

How are we saved you inquire
    We are chosen by God
Born again not by our desire

Oh profligate man your sin is immense
Our federal head Adam fell and so did we
    God requires a recompense

God provides a way of salvation
    Repent of your sin sincerely
    Believe the gospel without reservation

    So be born from above
By the power of the Holy Spirit
You are saved because of God’s love

  • Modern Art

Below you will see various paintings by “artist” (sic) Cy Twombly. He is one of the most expensive contemporary artists. His paintings range from $2 million up to $75 million.

Modern art is the Emperor with no clothes! It is absolute garbage!

It is noise and crude lack of skill. There is no artistry or ingenuity in modern art. These simplistic scrawls below which sell for millions just illustrate that a fool and his money are soon parted! I could produce better art than this when I was 10 years old!

This modern “art” shows what happens when art is divorced from Christian faith. It clearly exposes the weaknesses and error of the postmodern and modernist paradigm.

The greatest artists in the history of Western art were dedicated and deeply gifted masters of their craft. They were rooted in academic excellence, sophisticated technique, and rigorous study and training, as well as literally thousands of hours of honing and perfecting their painting and sculptures.

  • My Story

    The sun is shining today
    I feel totally gay

I’m as happy as a lark
If I get mad I’ll bark

    I will lay in bed
    And rest my weary head

I lost my mind long ago
    My psychosis does show

    I have delusions too
    The bad ones I eschew

I long to run and play
I can’t much to my dismay

    Someday I’ll be well
    I’ll walk and feel swell

As for now I count the time
    I read and rhyme
