• Salvation in Christ Alone

    With happiness
    I am replete
    Thanks to Christ
    Satan, He did defeat

    Christ died
    At Calvary
    He did it
    To set man free

    He lived a sinless life
    The Lamb of God
    Sacrificed due to our sin
    Him alone I applaud

    Christ rose from the dead
On the third day, Sunday, you see
    He defeated death and sin
    Proving His divinity

    On the Cross
    Christ bled for our sin
    He endured God’s wrath
    He was a propitiation

    Our sin
    Was imputed to the Lord
    We received His righteousness
    I stand on God’s Word

    Thank God
    For Scripture alone
Our faith is predicated on it
It was Christ Who did atone

  • Full Power

    My knowledge is elite
    I can’t be beat

    I’m an exalted being
    Know who you’re seeing

    I am a visionary
    Don’t be contrary

    My knowledge is elite
    I can’t be beat

    I have received visions
    Won’t bring divisions

    Have traveled through time
With phased mind warps so sublime

    I’ve been studying God’s Word
    Since 1982, it’s my sword

  • Pure Spirit

    I have mental issues
    Of the mind
    It is insanity
    That I find

    My mind was ravaged
    I was in deep pain
    No matter the time
    My mental hurt didn’t wane

    I cried out
    To Jesus in despair
    Mental illness had ravaged me
    And He was there

    Christ was in the flesh
    In my bedroom
He ordained me a pastor at last
And anointed me as a high priest

    Then Jesus disappeared
I felt so much peace in my mind
On my own I would be lost
    He was so kind

  • The Joys of Christmas

    Christmas is
    A magical time of year
    People are warm hearted
    And full of cheer

    In a lowly manger
    Christ was born
    On a cold
    December morn

    God’s love
    Christ did bestow
    As time passed by
    He did grow

    Ginger bread men
    And cookies too
    For holiday food
    There’s nothing I eschew

My big sister Vi and I
    Took a sleigh ride
    Pulled by horses
    On each side

    In the first week
    Of December
    We buy our Christmas tree
    Christ is why we remember

The greatest gift we can receive
    Is salvation in Christ alone
    We are chosen by God
Because at Calvary Jesus did atone

I wish you a very Merry Christmas
    And a Happy New Year
Let there be peace on earth
And may no child have fear

  • A Thunderstorm in Spring

    Storm clouds move in
    Dark and ominous
    My umbrella isn’t superfluous

    From my bedroom window
    I watch the torrential rain
It helps to keep me sane

    As the storm approached us
    Lightning sizzles in the sky
Purple plasma could make a man die

    The winds
    Blow fiercely you see
    Shaking the tree branches vigorously

    The air smells fresh
    My senses are heightened
    I feel so alive
    I am not frightened

    It’s raining powerful now
Wind is blowing the rain horizontally
After ten minutes the storm is gone
I thank God for this storm totally

  • The Insomnia Blues

    I’ve been awake
    For many an hour
    The situation
    Is rather dour

    My legs are restless
    I kicked them all night
    It was very aggravating
    I have a mental blight

    My body is exhausted
    But my mind
    Won’t let me sleep
    A solution I must find

    I took some melatonin
And had a cup of herbal tea
    Sadly none of these
    Worked for me

    Chronic insomnia is brutal
    It takes a great toll
    Falling asleep soon
    Is my goal

    I burn the midnight oil
    I read Scripure and pray
    Maybe in the future
    Things will go my way

  • Summertime

    My big sister Vi
    And little sister Tanya
    And I
    Stepped outside
    On a glorious
    Summer day
    We were outside
    Every day of summer
    We left home around 9am
    And returned home at noon
    For lunch
    Then we went back outside
    Until dinner time
    At 7pm
    We ran all around
    Our neighborhood
    We lived on
    Meadowbrook Blvd.
    We always had
    Lots of energy
    I was hyperactive
    Vi and I would collect
    Cicada shells
    From pine trees
    We played games
    Like Red Rover
    And Hide ‘n Seek
    We went exploring
    The Big Yard was
    Very special to us
    The ice cream man
    Pulled up
    In his truck
    We got snow cones
    And licorice ropes
    And bags
    Of popcorn
    We went swimming
    In the Brentwood pool
    On the hottest days
    I also played
    With my toys
    Such as Chips
    Star Wars
    Voltron and He-Man
    I will always cherish
    These summer memories
    Of my halcyon youth

  • Springtime

    I went outside
    On a beautiful Spring day
    The tulips and tiger lilies
    Were on full display

    My sister Vi and I
    Ran in the rain
    It made us
    Totally insane

    The sunshine was
    So nice
    Much better than
    Frosty ice

    We all watched
    The Easter movie
    The Passion of The Christ
    It showed biblical history

    We lay outside
    On lawn chairs
    Soaking up the sun
    While our music blares

    The bees were out
    Buzzing around
    There was also
    A white bunny I found

Spring is a time for rejuvenation
    And the newness of life
    We celebrate Christ’s resurrection
In Him there is peace and no strife

    We walked barefoot
    In the lush green grass
    I’d rather enjoy God’s creation
    Than attend mass

  • My Sublime Belly

    My gut is huge
I can float in a deluge

    My belly is massive
It’s why I wrote this missive

    My gut is gargantuan
    It’s admired in Saipan

    My belly shakes
    Yummy food, it takes

My belly is out of sight
    Slapping it gives me delight

My gut is a behemoth, you see
    It is very fatty

I love to smack my belly fast and slow
    Why I do this, I don’t know

I smack it day and night
    I use all my might

I smack it up and down
    It brings me renown

  • A Christmas Feast

    At Christmas time
    There is plenty to eat
    Many a delectable treat

    I’ll have baked ham
    And a roasted goose
They will plump up my caboose

    There will be
    Plum pudding
    I will be eating

    I’ll have some fruitcake
    Soaked in bourbon and rum
    I will definitely have some

    Fresh Polish kielbasa
    Can’t be beat
    It’s a sweet meat

    I will have
    Pierogies so delicious
    My appetite is voracious

    Macaroni salad
    This is what I need
    On it I shall feed

    I shall feast
On the bubka and the nut roll
    This food warms my soul

    I’ll eat
    A tasty smorgasbord
Thanks to God this food we can afford

    I will have
    Some walnut kolachi
I enjoy this food with my family
