At Calvary
On a wooden cross
Jesus would pay
An enormous cost

All men’s sin
He received
It was forgiven when
We first believed

This perfect Lamb
Died because of love
We are saved now
Being born from above

This new birth
When man is born again
Is the greatest miracle
It’s for even the insane

Jesus received
God’s full wrath
He endured it all
This was His path

On the third day – Sunday
After His propitiation
Jesus was resurrected
He defeated death and sin

We are saved
By God’s sovereign grace
It is for all the Elect
From every single race

No man can boast
Before salvation
We were Satan’s children
Now we have no damnation

My mind
Is out of whack
My sanity
I need back

I have many
An insane thought
Mental illness
I’ve always fought

I’m often suffering
In my troubled mind
It’s peace and calmness
I need to find

I struggle mentally
Both day and night
I need a release
From this mental blight

When my thoughts
Are racing
What can I do
Except for indoor pacing

I hear angels and demons
Inside my head
Sometimes I’m
Full of dread

I have major depression
Every single day
I’m fatigued and lethargic
All I can do is pray

Sometimes I’m psychotic
It is no fun at all
But thanks to God
For His effectual call

I’ll do my best to live
With a broken mind
In Christ alone
Sabbath rest and peace I find

Because of
Christ’s love
The Elect are
Born from above

He is the Good Shepherd
Who tends to us, His sheep
Christ’s love for us
Is so very deep

He is the Logos
The Word of God alive
We must trust in Christ
Not by our efforts to survive

Jesus incarnated as
A helpless baby
The Virgin Mary birthed Him
She was a righteous lady

Jesus suffered and died
For the Elect at Calvary
He gave up His spirit and bore
All our sins, it’s a mystery

Followers of Jesus
At His death, they dispaired
Even the Apostles were distraught
They thought that was His ending

His divinity was proven
When He resurrected on Sunday morn
Jesus defeated death, sin, and Satan
Jesus saw the Apostles and ascended to Heaven

He promised to return
To the Earth someday
This Second Coming shall be
For the Elect, such a happy day

So spread the Gospel
Across the Earth
If you repent and believe
You’ll receive the second birth

We’ll spend eternity with God
On the New Earth and New Heaven
We shall praise the Lamb of God
Rejoice my brethren

My energy did fully deplete
With overwhelming fatigue, I am replete

Soaking up sunshine is my goal
Doing so is good for my soul

I suffer from lethargy in the extreme
I wish it were only a bad dream

I am confined to my bed for most of the day
I lack any motivation; all I can do is pray

Often, I suffer with sadness and grief
My Daddy’s passing was hard, I lean on my belief

Many thoughts make me cry
I sob like a baby and don’t know why

I take lots of medication for my many maladies
Twenty-two bottles to help my mental faculties

I hear voices in my head
They fill me with dread

Racing thoughts are difficult to control
I thank God I’m on the dole

Hallucinations make me disturbed and upset
I need an emotional support dog as a pet

Anxiety comes and goes in my life
I am tired of the constant mental strife

One day, I shall be free, and I’ll have a sound mind
This is when I go to Heaven, paradise, I will find

Islamic Sharia law
Is Satanic, you see
Christians in Islamic lands
Aren’t free

The goal of Muslims
Is global domination
Who will fight against
This Satanic situation

The Qur’an allows Muslims
To not tell the truth
This is known as taqqiya
We need to be aware, forsooth

The Islamic commentaries
Called the Ahadith
Are authoritative for Muslims
We must fight this evil forthwith

The Qur’an is
A Satanic text
Dictated to Mohammed by a demon
We must study this book in context

The so-called peaceful parts
Of the Qur’an, from the beginning
Are abrogated by the later texts
Terrorists find it convincing

Islam is the only major religion
That explicitly calls for murder
And much violence against Christians
This is the disturbing order

Tens of millions of Muslims
Have immigrated to Western Europe
By and large, they don’t assimilate
Their numbers build up

Once they have a critical mass
By immigration and high birth rates
They push for Sharia law
It’s an ideology that hates

We must not allow this
To happen in America, you see
We renounce Sharia law
And Islamic hegemony

I entered a rainforest
The air was still
I walked deep into it
I was expecting a thrill

Above me was
A green canopy
A shaft of light
Shined next to me

I heard birds singing
It was a sweet sound
Then I saw flowers
I was happy with what I found

A mighty jaguar
Lounged on a branch of a tree
It licked its paws
And stared straight at me

Ahead of me
I saw a silverback gorilla
It beat its chest
All around was life, a plethora

A tucan flew past
In the air above me
Such vibrant colored feathers
It landed on a huge tree

In the trees
I saw monkeys
Eating some fruit
They had cute babies

I travel the universe
At a superluminal speed
From the confines
Of space and time I’m freed

I use a phased mind warp
It lets my consciousness
Travel faster than light
I have fearlessness

One day, I may visit
A supermassive black hole
It’s quite different than
Sitting at home on the dole

I go on journeys
Through time
Both the past and future
It’s quite sublime

God has given me
Special powers
I’ll keep traveling
For many hours

I have shed
Many a tear
Due to mental illness
Inner voices I do hear

My mind doesn’t work
As it should
Jesus died for my sins
He hung on a cross of wood

I know we all must suffer
But in Christ our victory is won
He resurrected on Sunday
I will forever praise the Son

I get very depressed
Every single day
I lack motivation
I want to feel gay

I’ve struggled with insomnia
A side effect of one of my drugs
My thoughts are troubled
I tell my sister Vi, and she shrugs

Living with Vi
Is good for my mental health
Her support and companionship
Means more to me than wealth

One day in the future
My mind will be whole, you see
No more hallucinations or delusions
I’ll be finally free

Amazing grace
That rescued me
I once was blind
But now I see

Spiritual death
Is the natural man’s lot
When we’re born again
The Holy Spirit enters our heart

All our sins are washed away
Jesus’ blood takes away all sin
We are truly saved
Because of His propitiation

Jesus beckons
“Come, follow Me.”
Christ alone
Sets men free

No way to God the Father
Except through God the Son
Every single saint is
A cherished chosen one
