Christmas is
A wondrous time
Spending it with family
Is truly sublime

We eat red and white
Peppermint candy canes
When it comes to Christmas
My enthusiasm never wanes

The telephone poles have angels
We drive around at night
The colored lights are beautiful
Many lovely decorations in sight

We decorate our fresh
Christmas tree every year
It fills our home
With holiday cheer

Santa Claus
Will be on his way
To visit all the Christian kids
He’ll be without delay

We celebrate
Christ’s birth
He alone saves
The sons of earth

Immanuel, God with us
Christ is fully man
And fully divine
To my Savior I ran

We must spread
The yuletide celebration
During this
Special occasion

I’m steadily growing
In sanctification
This is God’s work
It’s a spiritual education

I persevere
Because Christ sustains me
Salvation is monergistic
From sin, He truly set me free

Each day I mortify my flesh
I strive to conform my life
To Christ’s image
I battle spiritual strife

Be killing sin
Or it will kill you
Deny yourself and run the race
All sin we must eschew

The Holy Spirit
Sanctifies us
We do the good works God prepared
We are pious

I thank God
For His sovereign grace
It alone can redeem
The human race

God’s elect were chosen
Before the world’s foundation
We were depraved wretches
We received spiritual emancipation

No longer Satan’s children
Like the natural man
Christ died for us
According to the Father’s plan

For us, the Elect
Christ did atone
We are transformed
Gone are our hearts of stone

Through the effectual calling
And irresistible grace
Man is monergistically saved
We shall run a good race

In Christ, we are new creations
We are born from above
The Holy Spirit is in our hearts
This was all due to God’s love

We must boldly proclaim the gospel
To every part of the earth
Repentance and belief in Christ alone
As believers, we have the second birth

My sister Vi
Is my best friend, you see
We’ll be together forever
We’re roommates and so happy

She is a skilled artist
And a brilliant poet too
Vi has a degree in English literature
She gave me a home, me she did rescue

Biggest Loser and The Apprentice
These TV shows we love watching together
We also watch movies
And howl in laughter

Vi and I have
Intellectual conversations
We discuss art, history, politics, and poetry
We also chat about theology and the nations

You are an amazing big sister
My dearest sweet Posie
You warm my heart
You are the one for me

We’ve been living together
For the past 22 years
We discuss
Our hopes and fears

Vi is a woman of faith
She trusts in Christ alone
Our lives are predicated on Christ
He is our cornerstone

Vi does my laundry
And cooks many a yummy meal
I am so thankful for her
This is sincerely how I feel

My parents fought often
But in our home, there was much love
At seven years old
I was born from above

When I was 3, we lived at Skyline Drive
In the suburb of Whitehall
I knew that in Adam
Man did fall

I heard the gospel at 7 years old
On Christmas Day
I repented of my sins and believed
Without delay

Daddy worked hard for us
My Mommy is bipolar
She has mood swings
She suffered much with this disorder

I hated when
Our parents yelled
I would cry and feel sad
I wanted the rancor quelled

When I was 4, we moved to Meadowbrook Blvd.
In the suburb of Brentwood
It was a great place to live
Life was good

I played with my sisters
All day long
Sometimes we sang
A Christian song

The holidays
Were very special, you see
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter
I cherish those times with my family

There were some rough things
But overall, I had a blessed and happy childhood
Many precious memories
Accrued

I am a Knight Templar
My mission at hand
Was to liberate the Holy Land

The enemy, the Saracens, is formidable
They spread like a cancer
Invaders, the believers could not counter

Many Christians
Were raped and murdered
Their heads were severed

They forced millions of believers
To convert
Much evil they did assert

My army was vast
We fought for Christendom
To win our brothers and sisters’ freedom

Our forces were
100 million men
All ready to die and go to heaven

I gave the order
We launched many a nuke
This was no fluke

Our ICBMs fell on the enemy
Like rain
This is my joyful refrain

Many countries we attacked
Mecca was nuked fast
The Saracens didn’t last

We overwhelmed and destroyed
The enemy
We could finally celebrate our victory

I was lying in bed
It was very late at night
Suddenly I had a fright

I felt an evil presence
I saw the flames of hell
I detected a sulfur smell

To my surprise
Two demons appeared
Christ they feared

They blasphemed God
Screaming profanities
And vulgarities

I rebuked the demons
By reading Scripture aloud
I read it very loud

This went on for a long time
It was during the Witching Hour
I relied on God’s power

I finally yelled, “The Lord rebuke you!”
The demons screamed
And flew away defeated

Our childhood friends
Mark, Bobby, and Brian
We played all day
Running around
The neighborhood
Every day
Was an adventure
We used
Our imagination
We had joy
From simple things
We were active
All the time
In the summer
We stayed out till
The street lights
Came on
We went swimming
At the Brentwood pool
We got snow cones
Rope licorice
Push-up pops
And popcorn
In winter
We reveled in the snow
Going sled riding
Building snowmen
Making angels
In the snow
We had many a snowball
Fight
And Christmas was
A truly special
Time of the year
We always had
A fresh huge
Christmas tree
We helped decorate
Our tree
Colored blinking lights
Christmas morning
We beheld
A mountain of
Wrapped gifts
We had baked ham
On paska bread
With horseradish
And the succulent
Fresh kielbasa
For Spring
The flowers were in
Full bloom
Green lush grass
Soon appeared
Trees got
Leaves again
We looked forward
To Easter
On Easter morning
We searched for our
Easter baskets
It was thrilling
We got so much
Tasty candy
We went to church
Around noon
At the Community
Of The Crucified One
We loved hearing
Uncle Eddie’s sermon
He was our uncle
Spiritually
Everyone
Called him that
In Autumn
We went shopping
For new shoes
And clothes for school
It was so much fun
We also got a book bag
Folders, lead pencils
An eraser, pens
And a calculator
I loved walking outside
In the early morning
As a cold rain fell
I exhaled
And saw my breath
Linger in the air
The colored leaves
Were so beautiful
Next came Thanksgiving
We had a huge turkey
Stuffing
Mushroom gravy
Craberry gel
Whole cranberries
Brussel sprouts
Green beans
Sweet potatoes
With brown sugar
And marshmallows
Mashed potatoes
Pierogies
My childhood
It is precious to me
I have so many
Happy memories

I am an exalted being
My powers you are seeing

I have God given authority
To exegete Scripture flawlessly

The Holy Spirit led me to all truth
The Word of God I discern forsooth

I am a time traveler
And a master debater

I love studying the Scripture
My mind has no strictures

The sacramental churches are wrong
God will make their swan song

By faith alone we are justified
This is due to Christ crucified

You must be born again
To have salvation and go to heaven

God made me a visionary
This gift is necessary

I warn the USA of a nuclear holocaust
All will be lost

America is the Great Whore of Babylon
Its population shall soon be gone

Christ anointed me as a high priest
I share the Good News with the least

I am a pastor
Ordained by Jesus, Whom I honor

I am a virgin
We are not animals, per Darwin

Man is no beast
We have an eternal spirit

Christ keeps me chaste
I will not let it go to waste

Swimsuits are an occasion of sin
This is for all, whether fat or thin

I have no sex, you see
It doesn’t defile me

Sex is gross and animalistic
My analysis is scientific

I will not hug or kiss
Being chaste is pure bliss

I am abstinent
Thanks to Christ

I reject the degeneracy
To serve God fully, I am free

For many, sex is an idol
It will drag them to hell
