Freedom in Christ

In the dawn
Of the new millennium
I lost my sanity
Chaos reigned
In my mind
Disconnected thoughts
Voices in my head
My eyes deceived me
Hallucinations abounded
I slowly
Became very depressed
Almost lost
The will to live
But at my lowest
With a fractured
Mind
I found Christ
Waiting for me
Choosing me
To save
To adopt
He is now
And forever shall be
My God
My Lord
And my Savior
