The Gospel

Sigh no more
Ye good Christian man
Christ reigns
We all follow His plan

We were created
Out of the earth’s dust
ex nihilo
From the planet’s crust

The Messiah was foretold
Long ago you see
He would save the Jews
Then the Gentiles like me

Born in a humble stable
In Bethlehem city
The incarnation of the God Man
Jesus full of divinity

He was the sinless sacrifice
Who died for you and me
When He said “It is finished!”
It guaranteed our victory

On the third day Christ rose again
He overcame death
The God Man lives
See Him take a breath

So dear soul
You must repent
And believe the Gospel
Before your life is spent
