A Joyful Holiday

Oh peal the silver bells
Gingerbread men, eggnog, baked ham
And other holiday smells

It’s that magical time of the year
Streets covered in a blanket of white
Let us spread Christmas cheer

Roasted goose and plum pudding
Are sure to please
My mind goes to remembering

I love this joyful season
We must remember that
Christ is the reason

Set the Christmas tree alight
Decorate it with ornaments
It will look out of sight

Let’s go caroling door to door
Songs that exalt Christ
I couldn’t ask for more
