Snowstorm

I venture out
Into the snow

Where I’m going
I do not know

Such a splendid
Sight

A soft blanket
Of white

I spot
A black crow

It caws at me
And flies low

Each snowflake
Is unique

I hold a few
And take a peek

They are so beautiful
Crystalline complexity

Evidence of God
A great diversity

I look under
A street light

Below I see
A dazzling sight

Like millions
Of diamonds shimmering

Such brilliance
I behold the glittering

I trek back home
It’s a cold night

The full moon
Shines bright

I go to bed
All cozy and warm

Outside rages
The Arctic snowstorm
