A Journey

Traveling at
Superluminal speed
This trip is something
I really do need

As I fly
In space
I remember I long ago
Gave up the rat race

I see stars and nebula
I race past galaxies
A supernova star
And other anomalies

A black hole tries
To suck me in
But I forge ahead
It doesn’t win

I visit aliens
On distant planets
They teach me
New secrets

Finally I return
To earth
The place of
My birth
