Autumn Stroll

I step outside
Into the cold
Autumn air
Walking around
Without a care

The trees
Are gorgeous
A cornucopia of colors
Paints the landscape

As I walk
Leaves crunch
Satisfyingly underfoot
Strolling along
A McIntosh apple I munch

A lone crow
Caws above my head
I caw back at it
I keep walking ahead

I come to the lake
I skip stones across
I cherish our wilderness
I make the sign of the cross
