Are as poor
As church mice

This situation
Is quite worrisome
And not nice

We must budget
Our money
Quite carefully

Coupons are
A must
We accept charity

Our appetites
Are huge, but we must
Have portion control

We must lose weight
No food after dinner
Must be our rule

Our bellies are
Reducing in size
They will soon shrink

We shall fast
And become more slim
It’s harder than you think
