Rocky Mountain Life

The rugged mountains
I now go
Will cultivate the land
With plow and hoe

A quaint log cabin
I’ll erect
Mountain life is hard
Not what I did expect

I’ll trap and hunt
And fish
All the food I get
Will be delish

When the snow comes
I will be prepared
I’ll sit by the fireplace
And won’t be scared

I’ll read many books
To pass the time
Mountain life
Is sure sublime
