My Day

I laid in bed
Like a beached whale
This is my
Sad tale

I am lethargic
With no energy
It is a condition
Full of pity

I feel fatigued
And depressed
This situation
Makes me distressed

I want to run
And play
But it won’t
Happen today

I flip
And flop around
Where is my
Energy to be found

I will pray
Tomorrow is better
Meanwhile I’ll
Check the weather
