Linger softly
Shadows of time past
A multitude
Of silent witnesses
Time passes slowly
Life is teeming
Under the foliage
An ecosystem in motion
Lush plants
Carpet the ground
Ants gather food
Rabbits and mice
Scurry about
Happy and content
Walking underneath
The canopy of leaves
Life is simpler
Feeling connected
To God the Creator
From dirt He made us
Look at the beauty
And diversity
Of life He created
Standing in awe
At the wonder
Of His handiwork
