A Day in My Life

I woke up today
Thinking it was yesterday

I was in a psychotic state
Myself I did berate

A sound mind I eschew
I’m rather insane too

I am out of sight
Being crazy is a delight

If you get too close I’ll bite
I’ll bite with all my might

My moods vary a lot
One day happy and the next day not

I often feel glum
But Vi cheers me up some

When I am fatigued and lethargic
Singing 1980s songs is cathartic

Anxiety I get a lot
But I refuse to smoke pot

I’m often depressed and sad
My situation makes me mad

I’ll lay down now like a beached whale
So ends my sad tale
