No Energy

I’m as lethargic
As a slug
Have no energy
Need coffee in a mug

I lay in bed
Like a beached whale
Please listen
To my sad tale

I want to run
And play
Instead I have
Nothing but dismay

I’ll here
All day long
While I listen to
A sad Irish song

I’m totally fatigued
And lackadaisical
My problem
Is physiological

I have a defective brain
Chronic fatigue syndrome
Is no joke
Dreaming of freedom
