Sanctification

I am a pilgrim
I trust in Christ alone
God chose me
For me, He did atone

I’ve been
In spiritual deserts
The pain and misery I had
But Christ comforts

When I fall
Into sin
I get back up
The race I’m runnin’

God sanctifies me
It is an ongoing process
My sins
To God alone, I confess

I daily seek
My flesh’s mortification
I must kill the Old Man
And remember my justification

I am not perfect
But as time goes on
I sin less
And have a positive direction
