The Ocean Blue

I will sail
The ocean blue
It’s something
I must do

I cast off
My sturdy boat
Upon the water
It does float

I hoist
The main sail
I’ll soon have
A nautical tale

A seagull
Lands on the mast
The ocean
Is vast

I breath in
The salty sea air
I feel content
Without a care

I sail
Back home
For now the seas
I will not roam
