I was one of King Arthur’s
Knights of the Round Table
This was no mere fable
In the church
I swore an oath to the Lord
As I bowed with my sword
Many exciting adventures I had
I saved damsels in distress
Fighting evil until success
The Saracens had taken Jerusalem
I joined the crusade
In the Holy Land, I used my blade
We won a great victory
The Saracens were destroyed
I was overjoyed
I returned home to Camelot
And settled down with a wife
No longer need I endure strife
