The gray wolf runs
Across the dense forest
Searching for a meal
It detects a strong scent
Perhaps a delectable prey
The wolf goes on the prowl
It’s now running
Every second it gets closer
His heart pounding
Finally it snatches up
The prey between its jaws
A juicy rabbit
It was a good hunt
The wolf returns to its pack
Their shrill howls
Pierce the quiet stillness
Of the forest

Wolves are a vital part of the ecosystem. They are misunderstood by many, but they play a crucial role in nature! The wolves only capture the weakest and the sickest animals, strengthening the herds. I have always admired the wolf. They are very intelligent and strong!
