I firmly believe in the safety and efficacy of vaccines. They are a blessing from God.

For over 70 years, the majority of Americans took vaccines. As a result, horrible diseases like polio were wiped out. These deadly diseases were eradicated solely due to the widespread use of vaccines.

Sadly, 20-25 years ago, an anti-vaccine movement began. It is rooted in scientific ignorance, misinformation, lies, and hysteria, and even certain pastors railed against vaccines in their sermons. This is willful ignorance.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of Americans refused to take the COVID-19 vaccines. And they refused to get their children vaccinated.
If this anti-vaccine mindset were present in the 1950s, polio would never have been wiped out.

The vast majority of scientists, medical doctors, and researchers attest to the overall safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines. Yet, millions of Americans will take the advice of random laymen on YouTube, their favorite podcasts, and pundits with no scientific training or expertise. They will listen to them, instead of listening to those who are real experts, the scientists and medical doctors.

This is a real shame. And it has cost people their lives needlessly.
