A Plea for Sanity

I’m lost in
A mental abyss
I’m confused
Sanity I miss

I take
Psychiatric medication
They have side effects
I’m stuck in depression

Schizophrenia is not fun
Sometimes I feel psychotic
But my medication can be
Very hypnotic

I deal with delusions
And hallucinations you see
But in Christ
I get the victory
