The Life of A Grizzly Bear

I awake
From my slumber
I am on the prowl
I avoid the hunter

After my hibernation
I was famished
My extra weight
Had vanished

I ate
Some honey
Humans sell it
For money

I am
A massive beast
Take head lest you
Become my feast

I swim
In the nearby lake
At the stream it’s salmon
I will partake

I can outrun, climb
And swim faster than man
If you want to challenge me
You better have a good plan

You may have guessed it
I’m a grizzly bear
Don’t cross me
Or you’ll despair
