A Love From Above

I had a deep need
For an everlasting love
It came from above

My Lord Jesus Christ
He died for me
His love set me free

Now I am
Truly loved
Christ is my beloved

I was lost
In despair
In a spiritual winter

God’s light
Shone in
Christ was my propitiation

Now I’m happy
All the time
So ends my rhyme
