Saturday Musings

It’s a dark, cold night
I step into the light
And escape the blight

Can you see
My name is Zachary
I’m footloose & fancy free

I love reading at home
Especially a theological tome
I don’t need to roam

I drank an ice-cold glass of water
Outside it’s hotter
My belly is getting smaller

I love to feast on a ribeye steak
With green beans & a slice of cake
Of a banana split I’ll partake

I love Scripture reading
Upon God’s Word I’m feeding
Soon I’ll be sleeping
