The sheriff
And his two deputies
Stood near the saloon
The air was hot
And dusty
The sun blazed down
On the men
Beads of sweat
Streamed down
Their faces
Then a group of
Desperados approached
The two groups
Faced off
Their hands slowly
Inching for
Their pistols
Muscles tense
The sheriff
And his deputies
Fired first
The desperados fell
The showdown
Was over
Another day

In the 1950s, there were so many cowboys and Indian movies it was unbelievable! Every single week there was a new movie! And every channel on tv had Westerns! There was Bonanza, Gunsmoke and Wagon Train! And those were just the most popular ones! Cowboys and Indians were everywhere!
