Our paschal sacrifice
His Sabbath rest
For us
Does suffice
On Holy Thursday
The Last Supper
Commenced
Christ revealed
The spiritual
Reality
Of the Bread
And Wine
We are blessed
Spiritually
Through these
Symbols
Taken for obedience
To the Lord
Next is Good Friday
On this day, Christ
Would suffer from
Brutal Roman torture
He was nailed
To a cross
Christ suffered
Great pain
His precious blood
Was shed
For the salvation
Of all the souls
That God the Father
Gave Him
At 3 pm
Christ commended
His spirit
To God the Father
Then Christ died
The sky darkened
And a huge earthquake
Occured
He was buried
In a rock tomb
A massive rock
Sealed the entrance
And Roman soldiers
Kept watch
On the third day
Easter Sunday
Christ was resurrected
Thus proving
That He is fully divine
As well as fully human
Christ defeated Satan
Sin and death
He who knew no sin
Became sin
To pay the price
To ransom us
And to enter
Through adoption
The children of God
All souls will be judged
By Christ the Lord
Truly, He is Lord of Lords
And King of Kings
The prophesied Messiah
Who would save His people
The Jews
As well as Gentiles
Let us be obedient
And follow Christ’s
Commandments
May our lives
Bear good fruit
Of the Holy Spirit
