Jesus did hang
Angels lamented

At Calvary, Christ bore
The Father’s wrath
This was always

Jesus died
For humanity

The perfect Lamb
Christ died for us
He took us from
Minus to plus
Jesus preached
To the captives in hell
There they would

On the third day
Christ rose from the dead
Defeating sin and death
