Around the World

I traveled to Spain
But got stuck in the rain
This is my sad refrain

I traveled to France
And watched a dance
I took a chance

I traveled to England
Had some tasty fish and chips
I dined with the lordships

I traveled to Austria
Got some fine chocolates
I put them in my jeans’ pockets

I traveled to Southeast Asia
First, I stopped in Japan
In WW2, they lost control of Saipan

I traveled to China
I ate some delicious food
Some Chinese were rude

I traveled to Germany
And heard some J.S. Bach
No composer is his match

I traveled to South Korea
And had some tasty kimchi
It was enough for me

I traveled to Vietnam
And had a pho bowl
The quality I do extol

I traveled to Russia
And visited Red Square
I didn’t feel safe there

I traveled to Sweden
And ate a smorgasbord
Such yummy food, I wasn’t bored
