Salvation Explained

We aren’t saved
Because of
Our own merits
Or inherent qualities
Before the foundation
Of the world
God chose His
Elect people
For His glory
This is predestination
The Word of God
Teaches that
The natural man
Is a child of Satan
This person is
Desperately wicked
He has a heart
Of stone
Man is born in sin
From the time of the Fall
This original sin
Touches every soul
Our only nature is sinful
But out of love
Christ came to earth
To save His people
All that the Father
Gave Him
When a man is saved
He receives a new
Nature
A spiritual reality
He now desires
To please God
Through obedience
Man is born again
And receives
A heart of flesh
His bondage to sin
Is broken
He is snatched from
Satan’s hands
This new man
Has new affections
And desires
Before the Holy Spirit
Quickened his soul
Man was spiritually dead
Now he is alive in Christ
We must spread the gospel
The Good News of Salvation
Only in Christ
