I built a log cabin
On the right spot
Before it was too hot
From the stream
I caught some fish
They were very delish
At night, I built
A big fire
It was like a funeral pyre
The next day, I shot a rabbit
With my 22 caliber Marlin gun
Hunting is such fun
A mighty bald eagle
Soared above
It reminded me of God’s love
The seasons changed rapidly
Soon winter came
I hunted lots of tasty game
I had plenty
Of firewood
I was in a good mood
Spring was finally here
I enjoyed watching the flowers bloom
Reminded me that Christ rose from the tomb

A very well written poem Zak! I like the description of being out in the woods! You are a very talented poet!
