Mental Struggles

I’m struggling
With mental illness
Don’t have happiness

Every day
I’m down in the dumps
This isn’t for chumps

I suffer
Each day
I’m full of dismay

I have
No energy
I feel terribly

I long to have
A mind that’s whole
My illness takes a toll

I hear
Inner voices in my mind
Psychosis I find

Sometimes
I have many a delusion
And mental confusion

I lack
Motivation
It’s a bad situation
