Spring

I love spring
It is a time
Of renewal
It’s so sublime

I admire
The tulips
And tiger lilies
I watch the ships

We celebrate Easter
When Christ died for us
We went from minus
To plus

On the third day
He rose from the dead
Christ is alive
His blood was shed

We are saved
By God’s unmerited grace
Christ died
For the human race

The Holy Spirit
Quickens our soul
We are born again
Christ makes us whole
