Easter Reflections

Nature is alive
Flowers are in full bloom
I love springtime
It is sublime

Christ is the Messiah
He is our Lord and Savior
Easter is the best
In Christ, we enter Sabbath rest

We should pray
And be thankful to Christ
As we prepare for the Passion week
It is the Lord we seek

On Holy Thursday
Christ and the Apostles
Ate a Passover meal in the upper room
Soon, He would be in a tomb

When Jesus said we eat His body and blood
He meant it as a metaphor
The bread and wine are strictly
Spiritual food, not physically

On Holy Friday
Christ was crucified
Jesus left us communion
In Him we have perfect union

On the third day
Easter Sunday
Christ rose
Us Elect God chose
