Of solitude
To quietly
Reflect
On their lives
And to meditate
On God’s Word
Consider
The sound of
Torrential rain
As it hits
My bedroom
Window
Breathe in
The fresh air
Nature testifies
To the reality
Of God the Creator
In Christ
We find true
Sabbath rest
I built
A log cabin
In the
Alaskan wilderness
I fish
In the lake
I cut wood
To burn
In my stove
During winter
I put on
My snowshoes
With my rifle
I shot several
Rabbits
Back at home
I made
Rabbit stew
I fall asleep
Dreaming of
Christmas
