“to sleep”

I want to sleep
A slumber so deep

On my soft bed
I shall rest my head

I am exhausted and weary
My sleep is tarry

Much to my dismay
I did not sleep all day

I am plagued by insomnia so deep
‘Tis vexing me so I could weep

Now I hope to dream and snore
A rest I’ll truly adore
