Walk On An Autumn Day

I slowly walk down the street
It’s a chilly autumn day
A kaleidoscope of colorful leaves
They crunch underfoot

A lone raven flies above
Circling in the sky
Looking for something to eat
It caws at me

Cars whiz past
I wonder who they are
Where they are going
Do they see me?

It’s a cloudy day
Shafts of sunlight
Peek through thick clouds
I feel tired yet I’m happy

I arrive at the park
The bushes and trees are bare
I see a lone deer
Finally, I’m at peace
