Life with Mental Illness

My name is Zak
My brain is
Out of whack

My thoughts race
Faster than light
I cannot keep pace

I have delusions
Which are bizarre
Filled with confusions

I have psychosis
I try to relax
With self hypnosis

I yearn to be free
I’ve suffered much
Tired of mental misery

I need Jesus’ touch
I have faith
It will accomplish much
