Christ the Lord

Worthy is the Lamb
That was slain
Christ endured immense
Suffering and pain

Born to the Virgin Mary
A pious Jewish teen
Her son Jesus
She did wean

He is the eternal
Logos you see
He died for
You and me

Christ’s blood
At Calvary, He shed
He resurrected
From the dead

Jesus’ reconciled
God and man
His atonement
Was the plan

By His stripes
We are healed of all sin
Christ was our
Propitiation

I have the Holy Spirit
In my heart
He is with me always
He will never depart
