My Best Friend

My sister Vi
Is my best friend
We’ll be together
Until the very end

We have been roommates
For twenty-three years
We’ve shared good times
And our hopes and fears

She is an amazing person
Very warm-hearted and caring
I truly cherish her
And the time we’re sharing

Vi has a degree in English literature
She fills my heart with glee
She’s very intelligent
Living with Vi, I am so happy

We dearest sweet chumlay
I love you
Being together is the best
There’s nothing I’d rather do

We’ve laughed and cried
Comforting one another
I am so proud to be your brother
You are better than any other

I pray God gives us
Many more years together
You help me with my mental illness
We will be best friends forever
