My sister Vi
Is very sweet
When it comes to art and poetry
She can’t be beat
Vi is caring and compassionate
She models Christ’s love
As a little child
She was born from above
Vi supports me
In every single way
I thank her for taking me in
She didn’t turn me away
Vi helps me clean my clothes
She washes them so nice
After the dryer, she folds them
Vi doesn’t charge a price
On the 4th of July
Vi was born
In Mercy Hospital
Early in the morn
Vi and I celebrate both
Her birthday and Independence Day
We have a special dinner
From her, I will never stray
We have built a home
And life together
You mean the world to me
Christ is our Defender
Vi and I are truly
Best friends forever
No matter what life throws at us
We’ll face it together
