Darkness falls
But all is not lost
Thanks to effectual calls
We require regeneration
The Holy Spirit quickens us
For every generation
God’s irresistible grace
We were spiritually dead
That alone can redeem the human race
Satan is a defeated foe, you see
His fate is sealed
The Lake of Fire is his eternal destiny
Spread the Gospel far and near
Across the whole globe
It’s what the lost need to hear
Christ’s atonement was a display of graciousness
All our sin was imputed to Him
We receive His perfect righteousness
The natural man doesn’t comprehend spiritual truth
They are dead in their sins and depraved
God breathes life into us, forsooth
We must live in Christ every single day
Our sanctification and obedience go hand in hand
We will have eternal life with Him in every way
