Concerning my salvation
I have full assurance
It is not predicated
On my performance
The Holy Spirit indwells me
My sin was acute
I received a new nature
And I’ve borne good fruit
Before, I was depraved
I was sinful and lost
But at Calvary Jesus paid
The ultimate cost
By His blood
All my sins were washed away
Jesus was my propitiation
All because of Good Friday
My past, present, and future sins
Have all been forgiven
When God sees me, He sees Christ
Of this truth I have conviction
Jesus is the only mediator
Between God and man
His atonement was fully sufficient
He followed God the Father’s plan
So I live each day in Christ
I have His perfect righteousness
Spiritually I was born again
It’s all because of God’s graciousness
