Excitement
The holidays
Were special times
Swimming in summer
Going trick-or-treating
On Halloween
Sled riding
In winter
Going to church
On Easter Sunday
Sadly
Most American
Kids nowadays
Are glued
To their
Smartphones
Even at the
Dinner table
Parents coddle
Their children now
They are supervised
And watched
Ad nauseam
I need to
Return
To the happy days
Of my youth
There is
A childhood obesity
Epidemic
Millions of kids
Have type-2 diabetes
