Christ the Logos, the living Word of God, came as a babe to Earth
Born of the Virgin Mary, He would give man a second birth
At Calvary Christ suffered and bled
We, the Church, will to Him be wed
On the third day Jesus rose from the dead
No longer will we die in our sins; we have no more dread
The natural man cannot comprehend spiritual truth
Only when we have the mind of Christ do we understand forsooth
Penal substitutionary atonement is true
Other theories of atonement I eschew
We are saved through double imputation
It is the mechanism of our regeneration
Christ receives our sins, and we receive His perfect righteousness
Our spiritual nature was totally depraved and full of lifelessness
I thank God for His sovereign grace
May we believers finish well the race
By faith alone are we justified
Good works only play a role when we are being sanctified
All over the world, we must spread the gospel
Christ has once and for all defeated the Devil
