Faster Than Light

I travel the universe
At a superluminal speed
I seek new adventures
New experiences I need

I whiz past black holes
Quasars and supernovas too
When it comes to exploration
There’s nothing I eschew

On one trip
I traveled back in time
To the birth of the universe
It was awesome and sublime

I visited distant worlds
With advanced civilizations
They were billions of years
Ahead of humans in sophistications

Every time I travel the cosmos
I discover something new
But the greatest miracle
Is the gospel reaching you

God’s creation is magnificent
His handiwork boggles my mind
If one seeks diligently
It will be salvation they find

This universe will be burned up
By a fire in the fabric of spacetime
There will be a new Earth and Heaven
We must spread the Gospel in the meantime
