Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords
And He’s King of Kings
At His birth
The Heavenly choir sings
Jesus is the God-Man
Fully human and fully divine
He’s the Logos, the living Word of God
Jesus is the True Vine
He condescended
To incarnate as a baby
On Christmas morning
Jesus was born to Our Lady
His life as the Messiah
Was long ago prophesied
He was born to die
For that role, Jesus was recognized
At Calvary
Jesus paid the ultimate cost
He was a spotless Lamb
Sacrificed for the lost
But that was not the end
On the third day Jesus rose
Defeating Satan, death, and sin
Jesus never did lose
The natural man had no hope
He was spiritually dead
But Jesus, our Redeemer
His body bled, making the ground red
At the cross, all of our sins
Were washed away forever
Oh happy day
From now on our sins will damn us never
