Our Thanksgiving Feast

Tomorrow is
Thanksgiving
A special holiday
We give thanks
To God
For all
Our many
Blessings
I can’t wait
To eat
The scrumptious
Food
A huge 16 pound
Honeysuckle
Young turkey
That tasty bird
Will be
Truly delectable
Once baked
How I long
To taste
That succulent
And moist
Breast meat
As well as
The more savory
Dark meat
I love it all
We’ll also have
Sweet potato
Casserole
Vi’s amazing
Stuffing
With celery
Onion and mushrooms
And fresh sage
And thyme
Cranberry sauce
Both whole
And jellied
There shall be
Brussel sprouts
Corn
In butter sauce
Green beans
Turkey gravy
With mushrooms
Mashed potatoes
Schneider’s eggnog
Apple pie
And minced
Meat pie
With Cool Whip
Carrot cake
And cranberry
Ginger ale
