A Christmas Poem

Here we come wassailing
It’s Christmas
Let us sing

Good tidings
Joy to the world
The church bell rings

On a plump goose, we’ll dine
There will be chestnut stuffing
We’ll feast on food divine

Christ was born
In a humble manger
One frosty morn

Rejoice He is here
Emmanuel, God with us
We have nothing to fear

Thank God
For Christ’s incarnation
Because of it
Man has salvation

One response to “A Christmas Poem”

  1. This poem is very interesting, because it’s about the true meaning of Christmas! You didn’t get caught up in the hustle. I thought that was really important! You placed the emphasis on Jesus being born!
